Job summary

Pueblo School District No 60 is seeking a Paraprofessional to assist a certified teacher in the Exceptional Student Services program. You will help students meet IEP goals, monitor progress, and support health and daily living activities to enable equal educational opportunities.

This role requires a High School Diploma or equivalent, ESSA Highly Qualified status, CPR/First-Aid and CPI training within specified timelines, and reliable teamwork.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required and ESSA Highly Qualified status.
• CPR and First-Aid certification within 3 months of employment.
• CPI training certification within 6 months of employment.
• Ability to pass district lift test and post-offer background check.
• Must communicate effectively in English, written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Assist a certificated teacher in providing instruction to students in an ESS program.
• Help students meet IEP goals and monitor educational progress.
• Attend to health needs and assist with daily living activities.
• Support safe, inclusive classroom environments and implement behavior strategies.
• Perform clerical duties and prepare instructional materials as needed.
