Job summary

The Woodlands, Texas-based upscale Mexican restaurant seeks an experienced Barista to join our Front of House team. You will craft high-quality espresso drinks, maintain beverage quality, and deliver friendly, professional guest service in a busy setting.

Ideal candidates bring barista experience in a cafe or restaurant, knowledge of espresso preparation, and bilingual English/Spanish communication. Availability to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays is valued.

Qualifications

• Previous Barista experience in a restaurant, café, or high-volume hospitality setting.
• Knowledge of espresso-based beverages and preparation techniques.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve high-quality hot and cold coffee beverages, including espresso-based drinks.
• Operate espresso machines, grinders, blenders, and related equipment safely and efficiently.
• Follow beverage recipes and presentation standards to ensure consistency.
• Provide friendly, attentive and professional service to every guest.
• Take beverage orders accurately and assist guests with drink questions.
• Maintain knowledge of coffee products, ingredients, and options.
• Keep the barista station clean, stocked, and ready for service.
• Follow food safety and sanitation procedures.
• Monitor inventory and report low stock to management.
• Coordinate with servers, hosts, kitchen staff, and management to support operations.
• Maintain speed and accuracy during high-volume periods.
• Help create a welcoming experience for every guest.
