Job summary

Cuyahoga Community College (Tri-C) is seeking an E-Sports Program Coordinator to organize and administer all matters related to NJCAAE, PlayVS, OCCAC, and Tri-C rules. You will manage game scheduling, run clinics, and oversee streaming and team recruitment to ensure a healthy gaming environment.

The role emphasizes adherence to safety, health, and college policies, with duties including Discord community management and staff coordination. Evening and weekend hours are expected.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Minimum three years of experience coaching E-Sports and recruiting student athletes.
• Current or renewable CPR Certification.
• Current or renewable First Aid or Ohio High School Athletic Association Certification.
• Commitment to student success.
• Demonstrated experience making sound decisions that affect a work unit or team.
• Demonstrated experience requiring diverse problem-solving methods in a variety of situations.

Responsibilities

• Maintains and supervises efficient game scheduling across multiple teams and NJCAAE divisions.
• Facilitates intercollegiate nightly games and leads clinics, practices, and tournaments.
• Ensures compliance with NJCAAE, PlayVS, OCCAC, and Tri-C rules.
• Leads E-Sports program development including game streaming on Twitch and team recruitment.
• Organizes staff meetings and participates in relevant meetings.
