Job summary

Keene State College seeks an Esports Assistant Coach to support the Head Esports Coach in administration, development, and competitive success of the esports program. You will help with practices, player development, recruiting, team operations, and student-athlete support in a positive, inclusive environment.

The role allows on-campus, remote, or hybrid work, with remote duties including virtual practices, gameplay review, scouting, meetings, and administration.

Qualifications

• Experience playing or coaching competitive esports.
• Strong knowledge of at least one competitive esports title.
• Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to coach, mentor, and communicate with college‑aged student‑athletes both in person and virtually.
• Ability to work remotely and independently.

Responsibilities

• Assist Head Coach with planning and conducting team practices and competitions.
• Provide instruction and feedback on gameplay, strategy, communication, teamwork, and performance.
• Lead virtual practices, team meetings, and player development reviews.
• Support recruiting activities including campus visits, tournaments, and virtual recruiting.
• Maintain team records, statistics, schedules, and scouting reports.
• Assist with social media, promotions, and community engagement.
