Job summary

Talentify seeks a skilled technician to provide technical support for ESP Service Center operations, including calibration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of testing benches and associated equipment. You will assist in design, programming, installation, and optimization of ESP testing systems.

Responsibilities include supervising bench maintenance, coordinating major repairs, calibrating instruments, and developing test software and PLC code for automation, while promoting safety and complying

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing test and/or assembly environment preferred.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Computer Science preferred.
• Strong mechanical skills and knowledge of machinery for Electric Submersible Pumps.
• Working knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings.
• Proficient computer skills with MS Office and databases.
• Experience in oilfield service environment is a plus.
• Good communication, technical and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with API recommendations and standards is preferred.
• Programming in Visual Basic, C, Ladder Logic, and LabVIEW is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Supervise all service and maintenance activities for test benches, assembly and teardown benches, spoolers, and machinery to ensure continuous functionality and compliance with scheduled maintenance plans.
• Coordinate with third-party service providers for major repairs.
• Provide additional technical support duties for Service Center operations as needed.
• Calibrate test benches, ensure quality and support instrumentation.
• Develop and support test software, documentation and version control of software, test data base, and PLC code for test automation.
• Assist in fabrication, installation and commissioning of test equipment and control systems.
• Modify existing test systems to meet new equipment requirements.
• Support test system project management and scheduling decisions.
• Support design of new tools and equipment for ESP service center testing, including automation and instrumentation.
• Ensure documentation is entered into Windchill and ECN controlled.
