Job summary

Osseo Area Schools is seeking an Educational Support Professional - Instructional at Maple Grove Senior High to assist teaching staff and students with instructional support in the classroom. Job Description

Job summary: To inspire and prepare each and every scholar with the confidence, courage and confidence to achieve their dreams, contribute to community, and engage in a lifetime of learning by assisting teaching staff and students with instructional support in the classroom.

Responsibilities and tasks include:

• Support the academic and social-emotional needs of students.
• Assist the Principal, School Counselors, and Instructional Assistants with social-emotional learning and behavior support to individual students.
• Supervise students in large group situations in classroom and other areas of the building or small groups.
• Work with students individually or in small groups instructionally.
• Assist in small group assessments and data management as it relates to student work in the areas of reading and math.
• Perform functions associated with classroom protocols.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Work schedule : 6 hours/day, 7:30-2:00 M-F on student contact days
