Job summary

A leading pump service company is seeking a technician to assemble, install, and commission Electric Submersible Pumping systems. The role involves troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and ensuring quality service. Candidates must possess good technical skills, a clean driving record, and a high school diploma. Experience with submersible pumps is preferred, with a commitment to safety and compliance with technical standards. Daily travel is required in various working conditions, primarily in non-climate controlled environments.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, install, and commission Electric Submersible Pumping systems.
• Calculate control system parameters for motor controllers and VSD HMI.
• Deliver, install, troubleshoot, and perform preventive maintenance on equipment.
• Maintain accurate truck inventory and good housekeeping in work areas.
• Comply with safety procedures and actively promote safety processes.

Skills

Good communication, technical and problem solving skills

Knowledge of machinery and equipment as it relates to ESP systems

Clean driving record

Understand pump curves and be capable of accurate calculations

Education

High School diploma or equivalent

2+ years of experience with submersible pump preferred

Formal training on basic ESP or VSD

Electrical experience

Annual CPR / AED and Electrical Safety Training
