You will assemble electrical equipment per standards, read schematics, and ensure proper layout while maintaining safety and quality standards. The position offers on-site work, competitive hourly pay of $25–$35, with potential discretionary bonus and employee stock ownership.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• 3+ years experience building control panels.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively with a team.
• Familiar with entering timesheets, expense reports; proficient with Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Awareness of safety requirements in assembly areas.
• Ability to identify non-standard designs and suggest layout solutions.
• Basic use of hand tools such as tape measures, squares, screwdrivers.
• Basic use of power tools such as drills and jigsaws.

Responsibilities

• Assemble electrical equipment per standards and engineered drawings.
• Read schematics and panel layout drawings.
• Perform print/part match against BOM.
• Layout back panel components and enclosure mounted parts.
• Locate components to meet manufacturer spacing.
• Maintain UL standards and NEC codes while building panels.
• Label components within the panel.
• Organize component literature for shipping.
• Assist with preparing assembled equipment for system checkout.
• Assist with daily shipping/receiving tasks and equipment preparation.
• Maintain a clean and organized production area.
