Qualifications

• Fluency in English across reading, writing, listening, and speaking.
• Bachelor's degree required for teaching position.
• Tennessee ESOL certification or eligibility to obtain license within district requirements.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and deliver English instruction aligned with TN Academic and WIDA standards.
• Screen English Learners using the WIDA Screener and report results to parents.
• Administer academic and language assessments and maintain records of student progress.
• Collaborate with general education teachers on scheduling, modifications, and assessment.
• Foster a nurturing classroom culture and engage families to support student learning.
