• Must hold a bachelor’s degree and hold or be eligible for a Maryland teaching license.
• Demonstrate knowledge of current instructional and curricular methods.
• Possess the ability to relate well with students, parents and other staff.
• Additional certification requirements as set by the M.S.D.E. or Board of Education.

Responsibilities

• Meets and instructs assigned classes in the location and at the times designated.
• Prepares for classes assigned, and shows written evidence (lesson plans) of preparation upon request.
• Employs a variety of instructional techniques and media to meet student needs.
• Maintains accurate, complete records as required by policy and regulation.
• Creates a classroom environment conducive to learning and maintains order.
