Fulton Schools is seeking a Dual Immersion Teacher to deliver instruction aligned with Georgia Performance Standards. You will promote active learning in your subject area and collaborate with a partner teacher to implement Dual Immersion delivery for ESOL learners.
Requirements include a Bachelor’s Degree, Georgia teaching certification or eligibility, and Advanced level proficiency in a language other than English (OPI/WPT).
Provides instruction for students that enables them to learn and demonstrate mastery of the Georgia Performance Standards.
Bachelor’s Degree from a regionally accredited university
Valid Georgia Teaching Certification in applicable content field (e.g., Early Childhood for Elementary required), or must be eligible to hold a valid Georgia Teaching Certificate
Must have passed the ACTFL Oral Proficiency Interview (OPI) and Written Proficiency Test (WPT) at Advanced Level proficiency in a Target language other than English
Teacher for the English portion of day must hold ESOL certification/endorsement for a Dual Immersion model used as a delivery model for ESOL
0–1 year classroom experience required
