Fulton County Schools seeks a Dual Immersion teacher to deliver instruction aligned with Georgia standards in the target language. You will collaborate with a partner teacher, use CI-based approaches, and engage families to support student learning.
Requirements include a Bachelor's degree, valid GA teaching certification or eligibility, and Advanced-level OPI/WPT in the target language, plus ESOL endorsement for program delivery. Accounting for attendance and ongoing training are expected.
Provides instruction for students that enables them to learn and demonstrate mastery of the Georgia Performance Standards.
Bachelor’s Degree from a regionally accredited university.
Valid Georgia Teaching Certification in applicable content field (e.g., Early Childhood for Elementary required), or must be eligible to hold a valid Georgia Teaching Certificate. Must have passed the ACTFL Oral Proficiency Interview (OPI) and Written Proficiency Test (WPT) at Advanced Level proficiency in Target language other than English. Teacher for English portion of day must hold ESOL certification/endorsement for a Dual Immersion model used as a delivery model for ESOL.
0–1 year classroom experience required.
