Job summary

Charter Schools USA seeks an ESOL Coordinator to support the instructional program for students with limited English proficiency. You will identify LEP students, plan development programs, and implement instruction in line with CSUSA policies and state regulations.

You will collaborate with school leaders to plan curriculum, monitor student progress, and maintain records while upholding confidentiality and high standards of practice.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
• Possession of valid ESOL teaching eligibility.
• 3 years of relevant experience.
• Effective instructional delivery techniques and excellent communication skills.
• Proficient experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), SIS.
• Commitment to CSUSA values and willingness to travel domestically.

Responsibilities

• Identify LEP students and plan a developmental program in accordance with state law and CSUSA policy.
• Develop instructional plans to increase English proficiency and select appropriate materials.
• Instruct students and monitor progress toward English language goals.
• Collaborate with administrators and staff on curriculum planning and student placement.
• Maintain accurate records and protect confidentiality of students.
