Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in education from a regionally accredited college or university required.
• Student teaching internship or classroom teaching experience preferred.
• Ability to travel to Maryland sites as necessary for in-person appearances.

Responsibilities

• Establish goals and objectives aligned to WIDA Standards and ELD curricula; prepare language objectives and differentiated lessons.
• Maintain student data records and progress; keep records as required by law and policy.
• Provide instructional leadership to teams to support linguistically responsive teaching and implement language development strategies.
• Evaluate student progress using second language assessments and state/local mandated assessments; participate in IEP for bilingual learners.
