Job summary

Travel to Maryland sites may be required, and experience with IEPs and family outreach is valued. Qualified applicants hold a bachelor's degree in education and demonstrate culturally responsive teaching

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in education from a regionally accredited institution.
• Experience with English Learners and language development preferred.
• Familiarity with IEP processes and mandated assessments.

Responsibilities

• Establishes goals aligned to WIDA standards and develops language objectives.
• Maintains student data records and gradebook.
• Provides instructional leadership for linguistically responsive teaching.
• Evaluates progress using second language assessments and mandated tests.
• Collaborates with colleagues to differentiate instruction and support ELs.
• Communicates with parents and arranges conferences.
