Job summary

Kickapoo-Traditional-Tribe-of-Texas-1 is seeking a Tutorial Teacher in Texas to support tribal students with instructional needs, acceleration, and remediation. The role includes ESL duties, collaboration with the TSS team, and developing plans to help each learner reach mastery.

Qualifications

• Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Education with valid teaching certification and at least two years of teaching experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Master’s degree; competency in core academic subjects and five+ years teaching experience.

Responsibilities

• The Tutorial Teacher provides instructional support and develops plans to meet individual student needs.
• Collaborates with the Tribal Student Services team to create IEPs, lessons and progress plans.
• Differentiates instruction for diverse learners and coordinates with contract tutors.
• Ensures accommodations and resources for student success are in place.
