Job summary

ACCEL Schools is seeking an ESL Teacher for Cornerstone Academy in Westerville, Ohio. The role focuses on delivering differentiated instruction, maintaining accurate student records, and utilizing evidence-based practices to support language development in a diverse student population.

You will collaborate with staff, implement school curricula, and engage families in students’ academic and social-emotional growth.

Qualifications

• Active Ohio teaching license in appropriate content area.
• Bachelor’s degree in education or related field.
• Experience in growth-focused coaching with frequent observations and progress monitoring.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage confidential information.
• Ability to supervise students in various school settings.
• Ability to pass federal and state criminal background checks.
• Experience working in urban environments.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver lesson plans with ability to modify during the school year.
• Differentiate instruction to meet diverse student needs.
• Maintain records of students’ progress and development.
