Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university.
• Prior successful student teaching or teaching in urban, multicultural settings.
• Demonstrated continued professional development through coursework, collaboration, or job-embedded staff development.

Responsibilities

• Teach to Minnesota state standards and district graduation requirements.
• Collaborate with peers to develop and implement best practices for diverse learners.
• Assess students' developmental, cognitive, and social needs with developmentally appropriate instruction.
• Create safe, respectful, engaging learning environments that address diverse needs.
• Communicate regularly with families to support learning and educational decisions.
• Align instruction with district improvement goals and site/school objectives.
• Participate in ongoing professional development through PDP and team activities.
