Job summary

Soliant is seeking a General Education and ESL Teacher for a full-time, contract role in the New Orleans area. The position runs 35 hours per week (seven hours daily with a 30-minute lunch) from your start date through May 2027, aligned to the school district calendar.

You will handle engaging lessons for multilingual students, monitor progress, and collaborate with families and specialists to support success.

Qualifications

• Valid and active Louisiana DOE Teaching Certificate required.
• Demonstrated classroom teaching experience; multilingual learners experience preferred.
• Experience as ESL or General Education Teacher supporting language acquisition.
• Must clear district drug screening and fingerprinting requirements.
• Ability to begin promptly and adapt to multiple school sites.
