Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited college or university with an Associate’s degree or two years of college.
• One year or more of experience in translating and/or mentoring.
• Experience and training in working with students, preferably in a bilingual setting.

Responsibilities

• Serve as liaison between District staff and students/parents whose primary language is not English.
• Provide academic assistance to students in the ESL program.
• Interpret for students, parents, and teachers.
