Job summary

Pasadena Independent School District is seeking an ESL Aide for intermediate/high school to assist teachers with preparation and management of classroom activities. You will support instructional materials and work with students individually or in small groups under supervision of certified teachers.

The position requires PAC Test/48 college hours and basic computer skills, including Excel, word processing, and Publisher.

Qualifications

• PAC Test or 48 college hours required.
• Knowledge of general office equipment.
• Ability to work well with school-aged children.
• Basic computer skills, including Excel, word processing and Publisher.

Responsibilities

• Uphold and enforce school rules, administrative regulations, and state and local board policy.
• Assist the teacher(s) in preparing instructional materials.
• Work with individual students or small groups to complete instructional exercises by the teacher(s).
• Assist with the administration and scoring of objective testing instruments or work assignments.
• Supervise students throughout the school day, inside and outside the classroom.
