Qualifications

• Master's in TESL, TESOL, applied linguistics with TESL emphasis, linguistics with TESL emphasis, English with TESL emphasis or education with TESL emphasis; OR bachelor's in TESL/TESOL/English with TESL certificate and master's in linguistics/English or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Teach assigned ESL courses under supervision of the area dean.
• Help students fulfill their potential by mastering course content and outcomes.
• Assess student learning outcomes and maintain up-to-date knowledge in the field.

• Participate in college committees and governance including accreditation and student activities.
