Teaching assignments may include ESL courses across campuses, with responsibilities to support student success and college governance. Minimum qualifications require a TESL‑focused advanced degree or equivalent, with an equity‑minded approach toward diverse student populations.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in TESL, TESOL, applied linguistics with TESL, linguistics with TESL, English with TESL, or education with TESL.
• OR Bachelor's in TESL/TESOL/English with TESL certificate plus Master's in linguistics or related field.
• All degrees from an accredited institution and completed by time of hire.

Responsibilities

• Teach assigned courses under the supervision of the area dean.
• Assess student learning outcomes and monitor progress.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge in teaching field and pursue professional development.
• Utilize current technology in the performance of job duties.
• Assist with articulation and curriculum development and review.
• Serve on college committees and participate in faculty governance including accreditation.
• Fulfill other duties as assigned by the area dean.
