The adjunct faculty member will teach assigned classes, assess student learning outcomes, participate in curriculum development, and engage in governance and committees as directed by the area dean. Ability to use current technology in teaching is expected.

Qualifications

• Master's in art history, history of art and architecture or visual culture/visual studies; OR bachelor's in art history AND master's in history; OR master's in art with a recorded emphasis or concentration in art history; All degrees must be from an accredited institution completed by time of hire.

Responsibilities

• Teach assigned classes under supervision of the area dean; help students reach mastery of course content; assess student learning outcomes; participate in faculty governance and accreditation activities.
• Maintain current knowledge in regular teaching field and utilize current technology in duties.
• Assist with articulation and curriculum development and review; serve on college committees; fulfill other adjunct duties as assigned.
