Job summary

BridgePrep Academy, Inc. in Orlando is seeking a compassionate ESE teacher for the 2026-2027 school year to design and deliver specialized instruction for students with diverse needs. You will ensure IEPs are implemented with fidelity and students reach their full academic and personal potential.

Work closely with general education teachers, therapists, and families to monitor progress, adjust strategies, and maintain strong parent communication through annual IEP meetings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution.
• Master’s Degree in Special Education or related field preferred.
• Valid Florida Educator Certificate or Temporary Certificate in Exceptional Student Education (ESE) K-12.
• ESE Endorsement preferred (eligible for applicable stipend upon verification).
• Florida Level 2 background screening completed.
• Knowledge of Florida ESE compliance guidelines, IEP drafting software, and positive behavior intervention strategies.

Responsibilities

• IEP management and compliance: develop, write, and implement compliant IEPs with goals and progress reports.
• Instructional delivery: provide direct, specially designed instruction in individual, small-group, and push-in/pull-out settings aligned with state standards.
• Progress monitoring: track, collect, and analyze student data to evaluate progress toward IEP goals and adjust instructional strategies.
• Collaboration and inclusion: partner with general education teachers, therapists, and administration to facilitate accommodations in inclusive settings.
• Parent communication: facilitate annual IEP meetings, re-evaluations, and maintain ongoing relationships with parents and guardians.
