Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited educational institution.
• Valid Florida Educator’s Certificate in Exceptional Student Education and Endorsement, as required.
• Meets certification and highly qualified requirement for core content area(s), at appropriate level.

Responsibilities

• Develop quality IEPs with present levels of performance, measurable goals, and accommodations.
• Collect and monitor student data, adjust instruction, and report progress toward IEP goals.
• Collaborate with general education teachers and service providers to design and implement instruction.
• Coordinate scheduling and facilitation of IEP meetings and reevaluation reviews.
• Participate in Eligibility Determination, Manifestation Determination, FBAs and BIPs as requested.
• Deliver differentiated instruction aligned to state standards for students with disabilities.
• Provide transition planning and assist with transition-related procedures.
