Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited educational institution.
• Valid Florida Educator’s Certificate in Exceptional Student Education.
• Meet certification and highly qualified requirement for core content area(s).
• Ability to design and implement educational services for exceptional students.
• Ability to use technology to support learning.

Responsibilities

• Develop appropriate IEPs with present levels, goals, and accommodations.
• Collect and monitor data to inform instructional decisions.
• Collaborate with general education teachers and service providers.
• Coordinate IEP meetings and reevaluation reviews with families and school staff.
• Serve as LEA representative when designated and follow IDEA requirements.
