Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of children with special needs.
• General computer literacy and basic software use.
• Ability to follow directions and work independently.
• Strong communication skills with staff, parents.
• Experience implementing academic/behavioral interventions for ESE students.

Responsibilities

• Assist in supervision of students and school-wide tasks.
• Participate in required workshops/trainings.
• Assist with personal care and hygiene tasks as needed.
• Perform clerical duties: copying, filing, data collection.
• Help create and maintain a safe learning and work environment.
• Support staff with behavioral management and instruction materials.
• Prepare accurate records and progress reports.
• Communicate effectively with staff and parents.
• Use required equipment and assist during disciplinary situations.
• Demonstrate initiative and maintain confidentiality.
• Maintain professional appearance and punctuality.
