Job summary

Henry County Schools is seeking a Student Support Facilitator (SSF) to assist the Principal and leadership in coordinating ESE services, reviewing IEPs, and ensuring compliance with IDEA and state regulations. This role supports teachers with data-driven planning and MTSS implementation to improve outcomes for students with disabilities.

Qualifications

• Hold a BA, BS, MA, or MEd in Special Education.
• Hold or be eligible for a T-5 Georgia Educator Certificate.
• Minimum of three years of certified-level experience in education.
• Knowledge of SST/MTSS/RTI.
• Familiarity with IDEA and ESE regulations.
• Ability to differentiate instruction with data-driven planning.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and work with diverse students.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Principal and leadership with scheduling ESE students per IEPs and master schedule.
• Serve as liaison between district ESE office and local school.
• Ensure legal compliance with IDEA/IEP guidelines at school level.
• Review IEPs and provide constructive feedback.
• Attend IEP meetings and facilitate eligibility/placement discussions.
• Support teachers with data collection and progress monitoring.
• Provide instructional coaching and professional development on IEPs.
