Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 60 college credits or an Associate's degree or higher, or a passing score on the Para Pro exam.
• Ability to understand written and oral instructions, to speak and write coherently, to keep records and reports, and to work cooperatively with staff and parents.
• Bilingual/biliterate preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist assigned teacher with maintaining student records and distributing teaching materials.
• Supervise students during meals, classes, field trips, and bus loading/unloading.
• Provide support with behavior management and daily living skills as directed.
• Support classroom activities, reinforce instruction, and assist with projects under supervision.
