Job summary

Polk County Public Schools Mulberry Middle in Mulberry, FL is seeking a Paraeducator for an ESE self-contained program. You will support an individual student’s instructional plan, supervise students, and assist with materials and daily living activities under teacher direction.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED with 60 college credits or higher; bilingual ability is a plus. This is a full-time, on-site position with responsibilities across meals, field trips, and classroom

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited high school or GED with 60+ college credits or an Associate's degree or higher.
• Ability to understand written and oral instructions and work with school staff.
• Bilingual/biliterate preferred to support diverse student needs.

Responsibilities

• Assist with instructional/developmental program for an ESE student under supervision.
• Supervise students during meals, field trips, and activities; support behavior management.
• Prepare teaching materials, maintain student records, and assist with daily living skills.
• Provide clerical support and help with classroom tasks as assigned.
