Qualifications

• Paraprofessional 1 in ESE assists staff in caring for students under teacher direction.

• Ability to lift/carry and work with medical equipment as trained.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to daily schedule and assignments.
• Assists teacher with students between bus stops and school activities.
• Supports students with personal hygiene needs as directed.
• Positions and assists students with mobility devices and equipment.
• Prepares meals and feeds students as needed under supervision.
• Reports student information to teachers and participates in professional development.
• Maintains professional communication with students, staff and parents.
