Job summary

First American, via ServiceMac, is seeking an Escrow Servicing Operations Specialist for a Hybrid role in Indian Land, SC. You will manage escrow accounts, oversee monthly escrow payments, review tax and insurance processes, and handle escrow disbursements across the loan lifecycle, from acquisition to servicing transfers.

You will monitor service delivery, research exceptions, perform analyses, ensure regulatory compliance, and support department reporting with accurate data.

Qualifications

• Preferred Bachelor’s Degree and 1+ year of experience in a mortgage environment, preferably Mortgage Loan Servicing.

Responsibilities

• Process escrow servicing functions throughout the loan lifecycle, from loan acquisition through ongoing servicing and servicing transfers.
• Monitor service delivery, productivity, and quality standards for tax, insurance, and insurance claims.
• Process escrow-related documents and disbursements accurately and timely.
• Research exceptions and process off-cycle requests.
• Perform general escrow account maintenance and escrow analyses.
• Research and respond to internal customer requests and inquiries by evaluating relevant factors, resolving issues, and determining whether additional loans may be impacted.
• Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory and legal requirements, including investor and state guidelines.
• Process and monitor departmental reporting requirements and workflows, ensuring reports and assigned work are completed accurately and on time.
• Perform basic mathematical calculations related to escrow servicing.
• Maintain accurate accounting of escrow disbursements.
• Conduct quality reviews, including insurance and tax document reviews and verification of information provided by tax assessors and other applicable sources.
