Job summary

First American is seeking an escrow processor in Fort Mill, SC to handle escrow activities across the loan lifecycle. You will ensure accurate processing of monthly escrow payments, disbursements, and related documents while maintaining compliance with regulatory and investor guidelines.

The role requires 1+ year of mortgage servicing experience, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in a mortgage environment, preferably Mortgage Loan Servicing.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Ability to process escrow tasks accurately and on time.

Responsibilities

• Process escrow servicing functions throughout the loan lifecycle, from loan acquisition through ongoing servicing and servicing transfers.
• Monitor service delivery, productivity, and quality standards for tax, insurance, and insurance claims.
• Process escrow-related documents and disbursements accurately and timely.
• Research exceptions and process off-cycle requests.
• Perform general escrow account maintenance and escrow analyses.
• Research and respond to internal customer requests and inquiries by evaluating relevant factors, resolving issues, and determining whether additional loans may be impacted.
• Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory and legal requirements, including investor and state guidelines.
• Process and monitor departmental reporting requirements and workflows, ensuring reports and assigned work are completed accurately and on time.
• Perform basic mathematical calculations related to escrow servicing.
• Maintain accurate accounting of escrow disbursements.
• Conduct quality reviews, including insurance and tax document reviews and verification of information provided by tax assessors and other applicable sources.

What You'll Bring

Pay Range: $18.46 - $24.63 Hourly

This hiring range is a reasonable estimate of the base pay range for this position at the time of posting. Pay is based on a number of factors which may include job-related knowledge, skills, experience, business requirements and geographic location.
