Job summary

Chicago Title Insurance Company is seeking aClosing Coordinator to manage real estate closings with attorneys, realtors and lenders. You will prepare title and closing documents with precision, review title commitments, and ensure accuracy throughout the process.

You will handle loan documents, notarization, and revisions to disclosures, while identifying red flags and coordinating with management. You will also ensure ledgers balance, funds are properly disbursed, and post-closing packages are

Responsibilities

• Acts as the face of our organization during interaction with attorneys, realtors and lenders during the real estate closing.
• Assists in the preparation of the required title and closing documents with 100% accuracy for each closing.
• Reviews the title commitment and all title clearance presented at the real estate closing to clear all title exceptions/matters.
• Preps loan documents and ensures all documents are accurate, executed correctly, and notarized.
• Responsible for making revisions and additions to the Closing Disclosure Form and Master Statement during the closing.
• Watches for and is able to identify red flags and brings them to management for review.
• Efficiently collects and transmits all required documents to the Lender to obtain funding authorization.
• Positively communicates updates to parties involved in the transaction. Communicates with all parties effectively and efficiently.
• Ensures that the ledger is in balance, all funds have been received, and disburses according to the signed final Closing Disclosure Form and/or Master Statement
• Completes all necessary tasks post closing to transmit a clean package to the Lender and recordable documents to the county
