Pezian Search Group is seeking an Escrow Specialist in Grand Rapids, MI. This hybrid role requires at least 3 years in escrow, title, or real estate closing, with a strong focus on accuracy and client experience.

The ideal candidate will be highly organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple transactions in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include balancing and closing files, coordinating with lenders and agents, preparing closing documents, and ensuring compliance.

• Disburse funds and complete post-closing follow-up.
• Maintain proactive communication and build professional client relationships.

• This is a hybrid role, so the ideal candidate does need to be local, or willing to relocate to the Grand Rapids, MI area.
• The ideal candidates have 3+ years of current experience in an Escrow, Title, Real Estate Closing or equivalent role
• Must be a detail oriented individual with the ability to deliver strong results in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent team player, with a strong desire to provide a great Client experience every time
• This role has an expected compensation up to $32/hr base, overtime eligible, and additional incentives based on personal and company growth/performance

Overview:

The Escrow Specialist role is at the center of the closing process. The ideal candidate will manage transactions from clear to close through post-closing, ensuring that all details are handled accurately, timelines are met, and clients feel comfortable and confident throughout the process. Our Client is seeking someone who is highly organized, proactive, detail-oriented, professional and takes pride / ownership in their work.

Duties / Responsibilities:

• Balance and close escrow files for both purchase and refinance transactions
• Coordinate closely with agents, lenders, buyers, sellers, and vendors to ensure seamless transactions
• Prepare real estate closing documents with a strong focus on accuracy and compliance
• Collaborate with lenders on Closing Disclosure preparation and file balancing
• Disburse funds and complete post-closing follow-up
• Maintain clear, proactive communication throughout each transaction while also building strong, professional relationships with clients and partners
• Contribute to a team culture built on respect, reliability, and shared success
• Previous experience in a title, escrow, or real estate closing role or equivalent
• Dependable professional with excellent verbal and written communication skills, who consistently meets tight deadlines
• Strong attention to detail and pride in delivering accurate, high-quality work, with the ability to manage multiple transactions in a fast-paced environment
• Strong Microsoft Office and Outlook knowledge
• Team-oriented mindset with a firm commitment to a top level client experience
