Job Description:

Propy Title is seeking a dedicated and experienced Escrow Officer to join our team in Arizona. As an Escrow Officer, you will play a crucial role in facilitating real estate transactions by managing the escrow process and ensuring all parties involved have a seamless and compliant experience. Your attention to detail, communication skills, and expertise in the real estate industry will be essential in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Escrow Management: Handle escrow transactions from open to close, ensuring compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Document Review: Examine title reports, deeds, and other relevant documents to identify and resolve any issues that may affect the closing process.
  • Communication: Act as the primary point of contact for all parties involved in the transaction, including buyers, sellers, real estate agents, lenders, and attorneys. Keep them informed and updated throughout the process.
  • Fund Management: Oversee the disbursement of funds, including earnest money, down payments, and closing costs, in accordance with the terms of the purchase agreement.
  • Title Insurance: Collaborate with underwriters to issue title insurance policies and resolve any title issues that may arise during the transaction.
  • Compliance: Ensure all aspects of the escrow process adhere to state and federal laws and company policies.
  • Problem Resolution: Address and resolve any challenges or discrepancies that may arise during the escrow process, working with relevant parties to find solutions.
  • Closing: Coordinate and conduct the closing, ensuring all necessary documents are executed accurately and that funds are properly distributed.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as an Escrow Officer in the real estate industry.

Knowledge of Arizona state laws and regulations governing escrow and real estate transactions.

Strong understanding of title insurance and underwriting.

Education and Licensing:
