Job summary

Glen Oaks Escrow in Balboa Park, Del Mar, CA, is seeking an Experienced Escrow Assistant to support busy Escrow Officers in a fast-paced, in-office setting. You will open orders, prepare documents, coordinate funding and closing activities, and communicate with buyers, sellers, agents, and lenders to keep transactions moving smoothly.

The role requires 3+ years escrow experience, strong organization and communication, and proficiency with Microsoft Office; a high school diploma or equivalent is

• Assist with funding, disbursement, recording, and post closing follow up.
• Communicate with buyers, sellers, agents, lenders, and other transaction partners.
• Review and interpret contracts, instructions, and agreements related to escrow closings.
• Manage multiple files, priorities, and deadlines without losing attention to detail.
• Coach and mentor newer team members.
• Use escrow systems and technology to deliver an exceptional customer experience.

Glen Oaks Escrow is looking for an experienced Escrow Assistant to support top producing Escrow Officers on a busy desk in our Balboa Park office. We are seeking someone who is organized, proactive, customer focused, and ready to help lead an important part of a high performing team.

This is a fully in office role, five days per week, for someone who enjoys collaboration, understands the pace of escrow, and takes pride in creating a smooth experience for customers, business partners, and the newer assistants they help mentor along the way.

• 3+ years of escrow related experience, ideally with some lead or senior assistant work
• Experience supporting a busy escrow desk strongly preferred
• Strong organization, accuracy, and follow through
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• The ability to anticipate needs and take initiative
• A genuine desire to help customers, support your team, and develop those around you
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and the ability to learn new technology

This position is eligible for bonus pay and/or incentives for production or other goals. This hiring range is a reasonable estimate of the base pay range for this position at the time of posting. Pay is based on a number of factors which may include job-related knowledge, skills, experience, business requirements and geographic location.

Pay Range: $20.31 - $27.09 Hourly
