Job summary

Glen Oaks Escrow in Balboa Park, San Diego, is seeking an experienced Lead Escrow Assistant to support top producing Escrow Officers on a busy desk in our Balboa Park office. This is a fully in-office role, five days per week, requiring organization, proactivity, and a customer-focused approach.

The successful candidate will mentor newer team members, manage multiple files, and use escrow systems to ensure smooth closings. First American backing provides stability and benefits.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of escrow related experience.
• Experience supporting a busy escrow desk.
• Strong organization, accuracy, and follow through.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• A calm, positive, and solutions focused approach.
• The ability to anticipate needs and take initiative.
• A genuine desire to help customers, support your team, and develop those around you.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and the ability to learn new technology.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Partner closely with busy Escrow Officers to keep transactions organized and moving forward.
• Open escrow orders and accurately enter closing information.
• Prepare escrow documents and closing packages.
• Assist with funding, disbursement, recording, and post closing follow up.
• Communicate with buyers, sellers, agents, lenders, and other transaction partners.
• Review and interpret contracts, instructions, and agreements related to escrow closings.
• Manage multiple files, priorities, and deadlines without losing attention to detail.
• Coach and mentor newer team members.
• Use escrow systems and technology to deliver an exceptional customer experience.

Glen Oaks Escrow is looking for an experienced Lead Escrow Assistant to support top producing Escrow Officers on a busy desk in our Balboa Park office. We are seeking someone who is organized, proactive, customer focused, and ready to help lead an important part of a high performing team.

This is a fully in office role, five days per week, for someone who enjoys collaboration, understands the pace of escrow, and takes pride in creating a smooth experience for customers, business partners, and the newer assistants they help mentor along the way.

This position is eligible for bonus pay and/or incentives for production or other goals. This hiring range is a reasonable estimate of the base pay range for this position at the time of posting. Pay is based on a number of factors which may include job-related knowledge, skills, experience, business requirements and geographic location.

Pay Range: $20.31 - $27.09 Hourly
