Enlightened Recovery is seeking a Substance Abuse Reimbursement Specialist to join our billing team in New Jersey. This role focuses on high-volume insurance collections, AR management, and timely reimbursement for behavioral health services.

The ideal candidate has at least two years in medical billing/collections, can resolve denials and payment discrepancies, and communicates effectively with insurers and providers. Join a supportive team with competitive benefits.

• Two years of experience in medical billing or collections.
• Experience with aging AR reports, appeals, corrected claims, and reconsiderations within payer deadlines.
• Ability to read payer correspondence and resolve billing issues that delay reimbursement.

Responsabilidades

• Manage high-volume insurance collections and reimbursement for substance abuse and behavioral health services.
• Enter patient details into billing software and maintain patient accounts (demographics, insurance, diagnosis codes).
• Review incoming payer correspondence and resolve billing issues delaying reimbursement.
• Follow up on outstanding receivables billed to insurance companies in a timely manner.
• Communicate with insurers, clients, and providers to resolve reimbursement issues.

This role is responsible for managing high-volume insurance collections and reimbursement for substance abuse and behavioral health services.
