Job summary

Bechtel Global Corporation in Millersport, OH, is seeking an Environmental Safety & Health (ES&H) Specialist/Trainer to develop, deliver, and continuously improve training programs that support the ES&H Management System on our 1.3 GW power facility project.

You will translate regulatory and contract requirements into practical learning, support onboarding, and work with engineers, construction teams, and operations to ensure safe, compliant performance across offices and field sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in safety or health with 2–9 years of relevant experience.
• Experience developing and delivering ES&H training in large projects or construction environments.
• Solid understanding of regulatory requirements and safety standards.
• Ability to tailor training to diverse workforce and risks.

Responsibilities

• Develops, delivers, and maintains ES&H training programs aligned with Bechtel standards and regulatory requirements.
• Designs training for multiple delivery methods (classroom, field-based, workshops, coaching).
• Customizes content based on project risk profiles and incident trends.
• Supports onboarding and refresher training for new employees and supervisors.
• Provides guidance to Engineering, Construction, and Operations on ES&H program execution.
