Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in physical or biological sciences, engineering, or related fields.
• Eight+ years of ES&H experience with regulatory and permit requirements.
• Strong communication, leadership, and project-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead environmental, safety, and health programs, compliance initiatives, and continuous improvement efforts.
• Develop, implement, and communicate ESH policies, procedures, and standards to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Provide technical guidance on environmental permitting, regulatory compliance, safety performance, and risk management.
• Direct audits, inspections, investigations, assessments, and corrective action programs to identify hazards and improve performance.
• Mitigate environmental and safety risks by analyzing trends and program effectiveness.
• Coordinate permitting, regulatory reporting, and interactions with agencies, consultants, and stakeholders.
• Lead prevention initiatives, hazard controls, and continuous improvement processes for operational excellence.
• Monitor conformance to ESH standards and ensure accountability for actions taken.
• Manage environmental resources, budgets, staff development, and performance management.
• Chair safety committees and lead indicator programs and event analyses.
• Support project planning by assessing regulatory impacts and integrating environmental/safety considerations.
