Job summary

Pathways Inc. is seeking a full-time cook in Ashland, KY to prepare meals from approved menus and adjust quantities to serve the required number of meals. You will follow Health Department rules and internal infection control policies while cooking.

Responsibilities include handling laundry, changing linens in residential rooms, and performing related housekeeping duties as needed. A minimum of 1 year of paid cook experience in a commercial kitchen is required, along with a high school diploma

Salary Range - $26,000

Educational Requirements: High School Education or GED/ Current Food Handler Certificate from local health department is also required.

Duties/Responsibilities: Will work from prepared, approved menus convert quantities to meet required number of meals. Will prepare meals as directed following basic Health Department rules and internal, infection control policies. Responsible for doing the laundry and changing linens in the residential rooms and other housekeeping duties as needed.

Skills/Knowledge: Previous one year experience as paid cook working in a commercial kitchen, (cafeteria, hospital...etc.)
