Job summary

AMETEK, Inc. in Middlefield, CT seeks a Senior ERP Analyst to own ERP platforms, modernize systems, and align capabilities with business needs.

You will bridge IT and finance, support Navision (C/AL) to Business Central, and guide upgrades toward SAP S/4HANA migration while pursuing process improvements and AI-enabled automation.

You'll work cross-functionally with finance, operations, supply chain, and manufacturing, driving standardization, data integrity, and impactful ERP initiatives.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of ERP experience with strong functional and technical understanding.
• Experience with Navision (C/AL) and Business Central (AL); SAP exposure preferred.
• Proven success in a customer-facing role partnering with business stakeholders.
• Experience leading ERP enhancements, upgrades, or consolidation efforts.
• Strong understanding of finance, operations, supply chain, and manufacturing processes.
• Ability to balance support, development, and project delivery.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Demonstrated ability to use AI tools to improve productivity and reduce costs.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Business leaders and corporate stakeholders on ERP initiatives.
• Build cross-functional relationships across finance, operations, supply chain, and manufacturing.
• Translate business requirements into scalable ERP solutions and drive standardization.
• Own and support the ERP Platform (Navision 2017, moving to Business Central; Sightline, Visual, Sage).
• Provide hands-on support and ensure high system availability; troubleshoot issues.
• Configure and enhance ERP functionality; develop in C/AL and evolve toward AL.
• Lead ERP projects, upgrades, and enhancements; manage the support queue.
