GKN Aerospace is seeking an ERP Systems Specialist to provide expert IT support and deliver best practices for ERP applications in line with business needs. You will manage background/batch processes and ensure security and standardization across the enterprise.

The role requires 3+ years with Perl/Linux/Windows Scheduler, Oracle objects, and manufacturing experience, with ITAR compliance. A proactive team player will drive improvements and collaborate with external vendors.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree or 8+ years IT experience in related field.
• Minimum 3 years hands-on Perl, Linux and Windows Server including Scheduler.
• Minimum 3 years creating/maintaining Oracle objects, tables and related relational DB items (prefer Oracle).
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• U.S. Person per ITAR regulations to comply with export requirements.

• Gathers functional and non-functional requirements of systems and processes.
• Assists in time and cost estimates for assigned projects and changes.
• Identifies potential solutions and assesses technical/business suitability.
• Documents processes and procedures and maintains them.

Job Summary

As an ERP Systems Specialist, you will serve as a skilled and knowledgeable IT team member whose role is to provide business support and deliver best practices around the ERP software applications and solutions in line with the business requirements.

Job Responsibilities

• Develops and supports background and batch processes within the ERP application environment.
• Ensures the business are aware of the latest capabilities and drive standard application best practice.
• Ensures IT security requirements are observed and designed into future demand/requirements.
• Provides structured training for business/function(s) for maximum effectiveness.
• Be a trusted partner to the business in providing fit for purpose applications and solutions.
• Be aware of the latest capabilities and drive the use of standard tools and processes in the system arena.
• Liaising with external parties (e.g. consultants, software vendors, auditors etc.) where required.
• Gathers functional and non-functional requirements of systems, processes and business models.
• Supports the change management process Assist in determining time and cost estimates for assigned projects.
• Identifies options for potential solutions and assessing them for both technical and business suitability.
• Documenting processes and procedures (and maintaining them).

Job Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science; Will consider 8+ years of professional IT experience in related field, in lieu of degree.
• Minimum of 3 years of hands‑on experience working with Perl, Linux and Windows server including Scheduler.
• Minimum of 3 years of Creating/maintaining supporting & maintaining Oracle objects, stored procedures, tables, views, functions, materialized views, DB links, etc. in a Relational database environment (preferably Oracle).
• Minimum of 3 years of experience working in a manufacturing environment
• U.S. Person per ITAR regulations to comply with export compliance requirements

Preferred Requirements:

• Experience with Infor LN is desired.
• Great organizational and time management skills.
• Exceptional interpersonal, collaboration, and communication abilities.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with Supply Chain, Inventory Control, Finance, Engineering and/or Procurement.
• Experience working in an Aerospace and Defense environment.
