Job summary

IRVING INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT seeks a Business Systems Analyst for ERP systems to optimize Munis-based HR, payroll, and finance processes. The role specializes in configuring, securing, and upgrading the ERP, and translating district needs into tested, well-documented configurations.

You will develop reports and dashboards, analyze data, and support cross-functional teams in HR, finance, and operations while following SDLC and change-management practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Accounting, Business Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Proficiency administering a packaged ERP application (user, role, and security provisioning; workflow rules; configuration).
• Strong SQL and relational database knowledge; read application DB schema.
• Report and dashboard development against business data.
• Understanding of SDLC and business-analysis methodology (requirements elicitation, process mapping, QA/UAT, change management).
• Effective and responsible use of AI tools with data protection in mind.

Responsibilities

• Manage ERP (Munis) configuration, security, and upgrades; ensure healthy, secure operation.
• Collaborate with HR, Payroll, Finance to translate requirements into ERP configuration and workflows.
• Develop and maintain reports and dashboards using Power BI, SSRS, and related tools.
• Perform end-to-end testing, user acceptance testing, and regression testing after changes.
• Document configurations, requirements, and design; train end users.
