Qualifications

• 4–7 years of related IT work experience.
• 3+ years of ERP troubleshooting experience.
• Extensive knowledge of Baan table structure.
• Strong SQL skills (T-SQL) and SSRS reporting.
• Experience with Oracle and ODBC data sources.

Responsibilities

• Support the Baan ERP system and troubleshoot issues.
• Evaluate requirements and specifications from customers on reporting/EDI.
• Develop in SSRS to retrieve data from Oracle or SQL Server.
• Implement Flex IT best practices and deliver cost-effective solutions.
• Design, test, and implement system enhancements for the site.
• Communicate with team to resolve day-to-day system issues.
• Lead or participate in Global IT projects as needed.

Reporting to the IT Manager, the ERP System Analyst role involves primarily supporting Baan ERP system, troubleshooting technical malfunctions, researching with stakeholders and delivering solutions to the site. Located at our site in Milpitas, CA.

What a typical day looks like:

• Assisting with Baan ERP system; troubleshooting and resolving issues


• Evaluating requirements and specifications from customers on reporting and EDI transactions


• Development in SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) retrieving data from Oracle (thru ODBC) or Microsoft SQL Server


• Implement standard Flex best business practices.


• Providing technical expertise in identifying, evaluating, and developing systems and procedures that are cost effective as well as consulting with users on automated systems


• Researching, designing and testing new systems and system enhancements for the site


• Resolve required improvements on the systems & supervise its correct implementation to meet site business requirements


• Communicate with team to troubleshoot and resolve day to day system issues to ensure smooth operation


• Execute Global IT projects as needed

The experience we’re looking to add to our team:

• Requires 4-7 years of related IT work experience


• 3 years minimum of ERP trouble-shooting experience


• Extensive knowledge of Baan table structure


• Excellent understanding of T-SQL programming and Microsoft SQL Server


• Experience with SQL Server Reporting Services


• Application development preferred


• Strong English communication skills required
