Job summary

Sonance is seeking an ERP Support Specialist to maintain and support our PeopleSoft ERP environment. You will use SQL skills to strengthen data-driven decision making and support day-to-day user needs across the company.

This is a hands-on role at the intersection of data, systems, and people. You will write and optimize SQL, troubleshoot PeopleSoft and ERP issues for users, and partner with supply chain, inventory, and procurement teams to keep operational workflows running smoothly.

Qualifications

• Experience developing and optimizing queries and stored procedures in SQL.
• Exposure to ERP support, including familiarity with supply chain and inventory management modules.
• Foundational experience creating and managing stored procedures that support business processes and data automation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving ability with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication, able to work with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize SQL queries, functions, and stored procedures to support data analysis, reporting, and process automation.
• Provide ERP user support, addressing functional issues, troubleshooting errors, and keeping workflows running across ERP modules.
• Collaborate with supply chain, inventory, and procurement teams to understand requirements and implement ERP solutions that improve efficiency.
• Maintain data quality, security, and accuracy within ERP and inventory systems.
• Support system maintenance, upgrades, and patches for ERP and inventory systems to sustain performance and user satisfaction.
• Provide ongoing support to ERP users, ensuring they understand system functionality and can perform tasks efficiently.
• Stay current on SQL and ERP best practices, and growth in ERP/data platforms.

In this role you will use your SQL skills, ERP user support experience, and knowledge of business processes to strengthen our data-driven decision making and to support day-to-day user needs across the company.

This is a hands-on role at the intersection of data, systems, and people. You will write and optimize SQL, troubleshoot PeopleSoft and ERP issues for users, and partner with supply chain, inventory, and procurement teams to keep operational workflows running smoothly. Requirements

Qualifications & Skills

• SQL Development: proficiency in SQL development, with experience creating and optimizing queries and stored procedures.
• ERP Support: exposure to ERP support, including familiarity with supply chain and inventory management modules.
• Stored Procedures: foundational experience creating and managing stored procedures that support business processes and data automation.
• Analytical Skills: strong analytical and problem-solving ability, with keen attention to detail and a proactive approach to finding solutions.
• Communication: excellent communication skills, able to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Nice to Have

• PeopleSoft Experience: hands-on experience maintaining or supporting Oracle PeopleSoft is a strong plus.
• AI-Assisted Development: any experience with AI-assisted coding or software development (for example Claude Code, Copilot, Cursor) is a plus.
• Familiarity with ERP integration and data maintenance processes.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Supply Chain Management, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
