Lancaster County Government seeks an ERP Specialist to provide hands-on support for the County’s ERP system, collaborating with IT, finance, and departments to ensure data accuracy and effective adoption.
The role focuses on execution: data entry, validation, testing, and assisting with configuration while enabling transitions from legacy processes to the ERP system. Office-based with travel as needed.
Under the general supervision of the Chief Information Officer and Deputy Director of Information Technology, the ERP Specialist provides hands‑on support for the implementation, operation, and ongoing maintenance of the County’s Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system. The ERP Specialist works collaboratively with the ERP Coordinator, IT staff, finance personnel, and other County departments to support system configuration, data accuracy, testing, documentation, and end‑user adoption.
This position is primarily execution‑focused rather than project management‑oriented. Responsibilities include day‑to‑day implementation and system support activities such as data entry and validation, assisting with system configuration, supporting user testing, and helping departments transition from legacy processes to the ERP system. This role requires a strong understanding of processes, practical technical aptitude, and the ability to work effectively with both technical staff and non‑technical users.
Office‑based role with occasional travel for conferences, training, or vendor meetings. After‑hours support may be required during key implementation milestones or system go‑live periods. Performs related duties as required. Associate’s degree in a related field (or equivalent work experience). 1–3 years of experience in SaaS product, or business systems support.
Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to pass required background checks.
