Job summary

Union Health in Terre Haute, IN is seeking an ERP Security Analyst to manage security across HR/Finance/Supply Chain systems. You will configure Workday security, support interfaces, perform audits, and ensure data privacy and governance while collaborating with IT and functional teams.

The role requires strong Workday security knowledge, XML/Java experience, and a proactive, team-oriented approach in a fast-paced healthcare setting. On-call duties may apply.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science or a related field, or equivalent combination of training and work experience.
• 2+ years of experience in HR/Finance/SC application security.
• Workday security knowledge and preferred Workday PRO Certification.

Responsibilities

• Manage system security within the HR/Finance/Supply Chain architecture and middleware.
• Configure, maintain, and advise on security within Workday including domains, roles, and access.
• Perform routine break/fix, regression testing, and interface support with system/middleware.
• Audit roles and access logs and demonstrate security controls during audits.
• Stay updated on new security features and implement where possible.

ERP Security Analyst Details

• Manage system security within the architecture of the HR/Finance/Supply Chain system and middleware.
• Perform routine break/fix support and regression testing and support the inbound/outbound interfaces to the system and middleware.
• Ensure accuracy and integrity of data and applications through analysis, coding, clear documentation and problem resolution.
• Analyze and translate functional specifications and change requests into technical specifications.
• Understand and follow Data Governance and ensure attention to data quality.
• Understand and follow defined integration/development standards and best practices.
• Understand and ensure security and data privacy standards.
• Configure, maintain and advise on security within Workday application. This includes domain security policies, roles, and role assignments.
• Coordinate with vendors to understand new technology scope and association with new functionality and security.
• Develop and maintain awareness of data security and comply with policies and procedures.
• Participate in report reviews, including understanding and ensuring security and data privacy standards.
• Stay updated on new security features within the application’s future roadmap, and implement where possible.
• Perform audits on system roles and access logs to ensure accuracy.
• Demonstrate proof of security controls during internal and external audits.
• May be required to be on call.

Knowledge, skills, and abilities:

• Experience with Web Services and APIs (WSDL, SOAP, REST and WS standards).
• Strong technical experience with XML and Java.
• Knowledge of Workday implementation tools (Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB), Workday Studio, Workday Report Writer, and iLoad).
• Understand basic database architecture, tables, functional interactions, and recognize and understand impacts to downstream systems.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with team members and leadership.
• Strong problem solving, troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced environment and handle both planned and unplanned responsibilities.
• Ability to prioritize workload and execute tasks independently, providing timely follow‑up and resolution.
• Ability to work in a team‑oriented, collaborative environment.
• Solid understanding of Workday security features and controls.
• Ability to accurately collect information to understand and assess functional department needs and situation.
• Working knowledge of HR/Finance/supply chain information systems, data models, organization structures and roles.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with functional and IT teams.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Comfortable enforcing adherence to security policies and practices.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in relevant technical field (Information Technology, Computer Science, Software, Engineering or related technical discipline) or equivalent combination of training and work experience.
• 2+ years of experience with HR/Finance/SC application security.
• HR/Finance/SC functional experience preferred.
• Workday PRO Certification preferred.
